The Bunya Residents Association was formed in 1994 with the aim of representing the interests of Bunya’s residents and the protection of it’s natural environment. A declaration of the association’s objectives can be viewed here.

The association was preceded by the Bunya Riverside Estate Park Management Committee which was formed in 1992 and was originally concerned with working with Pine Rivers Shire Council and estate developers on tree plantings within the Bunya Riverside Estate . A series of robberies in 1993 saw residents rally to form a neighbourhood watch program but without success. In 1994 the Bunya Riverside Estate Park Management Committee called a meeting and the association was formed. A complete history of the association can be found here.

The Bunya Residents Association grants it’s members a variety of services such as a regular newsletter to keep residents informed and regular meetings to hear and discuss issues or suggestions to name a few. To become a member, visit the Members Area page.

The Bunya Residents Association can be contacted by email (secretary@bunyaresidents.asn.au). For other ways of making contact with the association, visit the Contact Us page.
